The congregation at St Andrew's Church enjoys a wide range of different worship services. All are within the Anglican (sometimes called Episcopal) tradition. Some services are more modern in style, some more traditional, some noisier and more boisterous, others quiet and reflective. Here's a quick run-down to help you find the setting which may help you best to meet God:

Among the more still and reflective services are the communion services at 11am every Friday and 8am on Sundays. There is also a traditional-style communion service at noon (after the 10am service) on the last Sunday of each month. Evensong is an old Anglican favourite and you can enjoy this service at 6pm on most Sundays from the beginning of September to the end of June.

The biggest service of the week is at 10am on Sundays. This is also a communion service in which many lay people take part. Alongside it runs a vibrant 'young church' programme for children and a crèche. The healing ministry which is always offered after this service is a valued and significant part of our services at St Andrew's.

If you are looking for something more modern, there's the '7.30' on Sunday evenings during the university terms. Modern music, thoughtful preaching and prayer times are the hallmarks of this groundbreaking service, which is followed by coffee.
